The use of rule of thirds in photography is when the subject of the image is not in the center which makes the eye follow in different direction which makes it more interesting. Instead of having the subject flat in the middle,t he rule of thirds gives a sense of the background and what is happening around the subject. It brings more life to the photo and makes it less boring.
